Exceptional Antique Bleeding Bowl 1800's Measures approx. "Large" at 15 3/4” wide, 11” across and 2 1/4" deep. Classic design of a barbers basin of "hammered" pewter or tin over copper. Before the advent of physicians, these bowls were probably used both for bleeding and shaving at a time when barbers did both. Only 1 minor dent that I can see - it is "heavy"Please use photo's as additional description. Thanks for looking!
