This is an original dress from the 1940's. It is in very good condition..no holes, rips or tears and has all itsbuttons. It has a full back (swing style) and belts in the front.
There are 3 buttons at the chest and two hidden buttons down the front to keep the dress closed. There are also 2 large pockets on the each side. This is a heavy dress ... perhaps it was used as a light coat?? There is a little staining on the belt buckle. I believe this woud com...e out with cleaning.
The pictures show this dress as purple, but it is more of a mauve color.
Laying flat this measures:under arm to under arm 20"shoulder to shoulder 16"belt measures 35" long. It is hard to get a waist measurement as the back is full and would probably fit many.
