For sale here is a pair of large size National Banknotes from New York City. The $10 is from the Third Charter period (Series 1902 Plain Back) and was issued by the New York County National Bank (Charter 1116) and the $5 is a Series 1882 Brown Back from the Second Charter period that was issued by the Mercantile National Bank (Charter 1067). The notes are in circulated condition and the Brown Back has a split along the horizontal center fold starting at right. But the...y are also both quite rare National Banks and typically sell well above the price for their respective types. This pair of rare National Banknotes from New York City is for sale without reserve.
