Dedicated to the white-tailed eagle - one of the largest representatives of the Eurasian birds of prey, the disappearing species (the series - Sokolodidni, the family - Hawthorn), included in the Red Book of Ukraine and the European Red List of Endangered Animals and Plants.
On the obverse there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: УКРАЇНА / 2 / ГРИВНІ / 2019 and the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine in the frame of the wreath, which is formed from images of certain species of flora and fauna.
On the reverse of the coin depicts a white-eagle flying in flight (colored image, used tampon printing) and semicircular inscriptions: ORLAN-BILOKHVIST (beneath), HALIAEETUS ALBICILLA (right).
