Super nice mint 1992 Vintage Puma Skinmaster (Jagdmesser) Knife with Stag handles. The Puma model number is 11 6010.The knife is over 25 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The blade is German stainless steel and the handle is stag with two brass riv...ets and a lanyard hole that is brass lined. Nice Mint Stag Jagdmesser!This knife measures 8 1/8" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. The front of this knife blade is etched: SKINMASTER HANDMADE - GERMANY NO. 11 6010 STAINLESS.The knife includes the "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. The knife also comes with the Rockwell sticker. It has a 3 1/2" German stainless steel blade and is 8" overall length. This configuration of Skinmaster is the most popular with stag handles. The handles have alot of character and are well matched. The blade is German stainless steel.The finger guard is made from German silver. The blade and finger guard are milled from one piece of metal. For that reason it is called an integral knife. Another unique feature of the Puma Skinmaster model is they are not stamped with a control number.The knife also comes with a genuine Puma leather sheath and the factory papers and warranty control tag. This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany in 1992. It is truly a nice Puma knife that was made to the the highest quality in Solingen Germany. Under his management new production methods are forced, e.g. CNC controllers and laser technology. 1998Sale to businessman Heiner Hiepass-Aryus and removal to the modern industrial area "Aufderhöhe". 2003Next to the classic line PUMA offers its customers a series of very qualitative knives in traditional design under the label "PUMA IP" ( PUMA International Production).2008With "Puma TEC" the company completes its knife program with economically attractive, fixed blade and folding knives in a modern look. 2009PUMA celebrates its 240 year company anniversary.
