Original Description:
This BUY IT NOW is for ONE (1) 1982-P Copper Lincoln Cent OBW (Original Bank Wrapped) RollORIGINAL, UNOPENED, UNSEARCHED & TIGHTLY WRAPPEDfrom the recently opened original US mint bag. The rolls that reveal a Heads end are ALL Large Dates. The pictures are of a random roll from this mint bag.The 2 pictures are "BOTH" ends of this random Heads/Tails OBW roll. These rolls are how an OBW roll is suppose to look.  Some of the so-called OBW rolls that we see h...ere on eBay make us laugh. Do they think we're stupid?  Some sellers only show one end, the GOOD end!  Why don't they show the other end?  Because it's most likely not original, that's why!  They don't show it because usually there's been some half-hearted attempt to fold the wrapper in or even hand spin the paper was made.  On a TRUE OBW roll,  both ends of the paper wrapper are "TIGHTLY" machine spun in on both of the end coins,  similar to a crimp on a shot gun shell.  So when you see a seller only showing one end of a supposed OBW roll, ask them to post a picture of the other end.  Don't be surprised to not get a response. The picture below is a close-up of a random roll from our mint bag confirming the 1982-P date. The picture above shows that these rolls all display,  "BRANDT, INC - WATERTOWN WIS USA."The picture below shows the "V" shaped edge of the paper roll which is a "MUST" for REAL & TRUE Original Bank Wrapped Rolls. Here's another little tid-bit of information that we have learned over the years.  This "V" shaped edge of the paper is also how OBW rolls are suppose to look. We see some so-called OBW rolls with straight edged paper that spirals all the way from one end of the roll to the other & they're not even tightly wrapped.  SO, beware of other so-called OBW rolls here on eBay.  We know!  We have learned the hard way. When we opened the mint bag we revealed the 100 OBW rolls pictured.  Your roll(s) will come from this bag and will be Heads/Tails, Heads/Heads, Tails/Tails or any combination. In the past, we have obtained some so-called "unopened" OBW rolls, but could not offer them as Original Bank Wrapped rolls because they had been opened & then reclosed. Please read the feedback from our buyer's and "buy with confidence." If we say it's unopened, it's "UNOPENED, " GUARANTEED!Your OBW roll(s) is placed unopened & undisturbed in a NEW plastic tube for its protection during shipping.Shipping is $3.25 for the 1st roll, $2.10 extra for a 2nd roll plus an extra $1.00 for a 3rd roll.  After that,  any & all additional rolls ship along FREE.  $6.75 is our maximum shipping charge & exactly what the USPS charges for Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope.Disclaimer:  There may be spin marks on the end coins of the roll(s), but this is typical for "REAL & TRUE" Original Bank Wrapped Rolls.  Planchet stains, contact marks or toning may also be present on end coins and/or coins within the roll.  Our x-ray machine is in the shop for repairs, so it is impossible for us to know what will be discovered in the roll(s).  As most all eBayer's know, buying unopened Bank Wrapped rolls is a gamble & like buying a lottery ticket, you never know if you'll be a winner or not.  Because no one knows what is in this or any unopened OBW Roll, we feel that buying them just to obtain high Mint State coins is not impossible, but not the basic idea due to unforeseen planchet stains, contact marks & die scratches.  For us & most all eBayer's, the lure to buy unopened OBW rolls is to be the 1st person EVER to search the unopened OBW roll to hopefully discover rare & valuable varieties (Doubled Dies & RPM's).  If you are simply searching for high grade Mint State coins with minimal planchet stains & minimal contact marks you should buy from a seller that is basically offering plain old BU Rolls or BU coins where they show & you can see the loose coins or where they state that the coins are Gems or in high Mint State grade.  The point being, when you buy & open an unopened OBW roll, it is yours to keep & cannot be returned.Any questions or concerns, send us a message.
