This scarce aluminum token is from the Keysville Lumber Company company store in Keysville, Florida, and this token is dated to approximately 1905 due to the depletion of timber resources in the area at that time. The obverse has the name and location of the company plus the token value - 50¢. The reverse has the words GOOD FOR 50¢ IN TRADE IN HANDS OF EMPLOYEES ONLY. The diameter is approximately 29 mm (1-1/8"), and the composition is aluminum with a very brig...ht silver color.This token is in very fine condition, with light actual wear, signs of handling, and soiling, and it remains a very bright silver color.
