Description NOW T...HIS IS COOL!
Here is a rare original August 1974 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20" BICYCLE! (HK Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) These early bikes are the coolest and the hardest to find!
*The bike has been painted BLACK and looks awesome! (go find another Stingray in black that is not a Fastback!) The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar (non schwinn) cool reflector BOW pedals, and so much more! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! It has an original Schwinn chainguard. (has a fresh decal) The bike is a single speed coaster brakes. WOW! The previous owner added a newer seat AND it looks nice! It has the original chrome Schwinn S-7 front rim and a chrome double knurled Schwinn S-2 rear wheel with a Bendix 76 rear hub. Both front and rear tires hold air. They are almost new wide whitewall tires and look awesome on the bike! I like the Cheater SLIK rear tire! CHECK OUT THE CRANKS and CHAIN! They were obviously not born on this bike but look awesome on here!!!
*IF you bought an unrestored bike for a couple hundred dollars, added all the parts, money, and time spent building it, you would have a ton of $ invested in a bike to get this same thing! Skip all that and have an awesome bike you can ride, enjoy, or display right away!

Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it! It has been repainted and looks cool! The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) IF you are a "nut and bolt purist" this is not the bike for you. If you would enjoy a real deal Chicago USA made Schwinn Stingray like noone else has, you may love this one! Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment.
