Click images to enlarge Description PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND VIEW ALL THE PICTURES This bill features the signatures of SPEELMAN / WHITE and is FRIEDBERG FR #39. Beautiful front design featuring GEORGE WASHINGTON in the center with a vignette to the left of CHISTOPHER COLUMBUS making sight of land, plus the bright RED Treasury Seal / Serial Number. The vignette was designed by JOSEPH P. OURDAN. This specimen is known as the SAWHORSE or SAWBUCK due to the crossed bars design of the back, hence the familiar term BUCK. The bill has been folded, wrinkled, soiled and stained. However, the bill is still relatively flat with no pin holes, tears or tape repairs. The corners are not sharp but all edges are intact with no chips or tears noted upon inspection. In our opinion it is in overall excellent condition note. We have provided pictures that can be enlarged for more detail, so view the scans, judge for yourself and then bid accordingly.
