A small cache was recently discovered, but the overall majority have very poor paper condition, and other problems. They were released all in a short period of time given people the illusion of been common. They are still quite scarce and fast drying up.
The overall majority grade from AU to CU/63 and I have only seen one ...graded higher. In order to appreciate the quality of this note, one must be familiar with the manufacturing of paper in the very early 1800's. Unlike the 1830's and up, manufacturers could not achieve good whiteness and smoothness in the making of paper. The amount of imperfections and roughness in the paper is never-ending. One needs to go through hundreds, in order to find one this nice. I believe that the grader at PMG, was not familiar with this manufacturing fact, as many people are not, and it was compared to the quality of later ones. If one takes all of the above into consideration, this note should have probably graded CU/68.
This is definitely one of the two finest I have ever seen.

WARNING: EBay has rolled-out a new mandatory sales tax collection for many states. The seller has no control over the new program. The list of states having eBay collect taxes for them will grow each month. This is a federally mandated program, and eventually all states will be participating. If you are curious about your state, you should look up “Taxes and import charges” on eBay’s help. If you are a reseller, you should register with eBay as such, in order to avoid the sales taxes.
