Here’s an interesting find of one original U.S. Army / Union Cavalry "C" brass uniform button from the Civil War era, with manufacturer markings from "Scovill Mf'g Co. * Waterbury * ". It measures approximately 7/8ths of an inch in diameter. No parts of this button will attract a magnet. It was found with other family heirlooms from the Civil War era, and earlier. CONDITION: Pre-owned. Original. Very fine to excellent condition. Minimal light tarnishing on the reverse, left exactly as found. No notable signs of use or wear.
