This is a wonderful vintage hunting license to add to your collection or to give as a gift. It is the FIRST Non-Resident Hunting license issued in Pasquotank County, North Carolina for the 1903-1904 hunting season. It was issued to William W. King of Norfolk, Virginia at Elizabeth City and is dated November 18, 1903.
The license is in very good condition with minor fading and a penciled price in the upper right corner (it is from the estate of an avid collector /seller from outside ...of Washington DC). There is also a section of thicker paper attached to the backside s seen in the picture.
William King was a lawyer and avid sportsman. I am also listing his correspondence with famous fisherman, Robert Armstrong of New Brunswick Canada and will combine shipping.
