Hello, Today I have up for offer a civil war cartridge box marked e. Gaylord on the strap and inspector and arsenal stamped on the pouch as well.The leather is in excellent shape and shows age and life well.The plate has patina as expected as do the rivers and buckles.This was found in a trunk when cleaning out my late grandmothers attic along with a bunch of other historical memorabilia including ww2 artifacts .Please look over photos ask questions and judge for yourself as I know ver...y little about this other than what I’ve found online researching the markings and usage.Thank you, And good luck !!
