This rare key date coin enjoyed the lowest production run of any year of issue in the US Indian Head series, making it a "must have" for the serious US cent numismatist's collection. The San Francisco Mint stopped production early in 1909 as the new Lincoln Head Cent V.D.B. dies were ready for production by summer of 1909.
