DESCRIPTION:In absolutely 100% authentic, original condition, pencil signed by the artist on the pictorial field of the color woodblock print and with a characteristic artist's red ink stamp. The print is in its original Japanese black enamel, thin profile period, vintage wood frame and is matted with red linen paper mat board. The piece is absolutely untouched and has an unbroken brown paper dust cover on the verso. The fine art gallery paper label from the Ross Widen Gallery of Cleveland, Ohio is still affixed to the verso. The print is under glass and doesn't suffer from a single condition issue. The blacks and grays are still crisp and vivid, as are the chalky brick red and the brighter red laid down over it. There's no water damage, foxing, creases, tears, pushes or any other condition issue to report. The color woodblock print is in completely original, 'as-found, ' 'as-is' vintage condition and no one, ever, has laid a single finger on it. It's difficult to find untouched vintage period prints such as this in this kind of undisturbed, nearly flawless condition. Nearly, if not perfect. In near museum quality condition. Outstanding. Very clean.
CONDITION:Very Good/Excellent overall vintage condition
