An Excellent Antique Chinese Mother of Pearl Inlay Opium Box Casket 19th century.
Very fine inlayed mother of pearl depicting flower, butterfly's, birds and bats. These boxes were used to store opium attributes and were often accompanied by pipes and holders in the same style all served on a large tray.This box was made in Southern China during the 19th century and shos excellent craftmanship of the maker.
Dimensions: 31 x 8.5 x 8.5cm
Condition: Good, no Mother of Pearl missin...g, just a few scratches due to age and use.
