This motion picture was produced by the US NAVY and is a filmed record of the capture of the German U-Boat 505 during world war two. It shows the bombing, boarding and plugging the sinking sub then, shows it towed away intact. You'll also see the captured crew. This is a great piece of world war two history and an original ...1940's vintage 16mm film print in very nice condition. Others have sold the post war version of this picture but "this is the original 1945 release print" of this hard to find film. The contrast is far nicer then in my photos with only minor wear. This print also has the original countdown leader and tails.
Would be great for a military museum or producer for stock footage because it's public domain.
I'll try to get more pictures up soon but it's in really nice condition.
