"YESTERDAY'S ELONGATEDS"
This offering is for the elongated cent pictured. This i...s the one I will send. Rolled on 1963-D cents. I've had these from the get-go, but haven't listed them because I couldn't identify them. They are rolled after the fair, but I think pretty soon after because the are rolled on 1963 cents. Original rollings.
* Supplement to the Encyclopedia of the Modern Elongated© 1998 by Angelo A. Rosato
Angros Publishers 70 Grove Street, New Milford, Connecticut 06776
Condition:
As rolled, pictured and described. While I endeavor to remove or make note of the ones in poor condition, an occasional elongate with a carbon spot or two cannot be ruled out. Most of the backs were coated with shoe polish to preserve the actual obverse of the coin, but once in a while, an elongated with a blank back fell into the hopper. About my elongated coin offerings:
I am not a "roller", I do not sell re-rolls. These are from a collection I purchased from the family of a former TEC president. They are original vintage coins rolled many years ago by the original designer, (sometimes engraver), and roller. Many of these rollers were Charter members of The Elongated Collectors (TEC) originally formed in 1966. Most of these members no longer produced elongated issues after 1991. Most of their dies are closed and canceled. When these are gone they are gone forever. Postage and Handling:
25 cents within the USA and APO addresses
It's free to you, but it costs me 80 cents.
postal rates have increased. Item(s) are normally sent by first class US mail. PAYMENT: Payment by PayPal is gladly accepted.
