This note worked for a living. Morelos, a hero of the independence movement, took over leadership after Hidalgo was executed in 1811. After leading and organizing the war for independence, he, too was captured, and executed in 1815. But his work went on, and Mexico did become independent of Spain. Legal tender, this banknote is worth $2.50 at present rates. Buy something else, I combine shipping and you make money! Normal circulation, no abuse, just ...folding, creasing, the usual.
