April 6th, 1863 50 Cent Confederate Currency-Rarer RED SERIAL NUMBER-Bold Deep Print with a Fantastic Portrait of Jefferson Davis. This Richmond Rarity has Pinholes and some minor border splits, but is COMPLETE with All 4 Corners Intact. This Early FRACTIONAL CONFEDERATE CURRENCY is RARE due to the fact that Low Denomination Notes often had no REAL VALUE due to Inflation and that the Confederate Treasury did Not back their Currencies with GOLD. Most Smaller Notes eventually were used a...s KINDLING by Soldiers in the Field. The Eye Appeal is GREAT !SHIPPING INCLUDES TRACKING AND INSURANCE.
