Offered here is an inert 75 MM Scovill Shrapnel Shell & Casing as would have been used in a WW I howitzer. The base is marked "F. A. 1902" and "F A 8 13 5". The band under the timer tip is marked "ICT 57 06". The timer is graduated from 1 to 21. Overall length is 16.5 inches with the removable tip measuring 2.5" in len...gth - 3" diameter overall. The threads on the tip are stripped from decommissioning. Condition is original as-found - we have not attempted to clean the shell. There is no significant corrosion to note. Weight is just under 10 pounds.
