Over 40 years of industry experience ... PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY FRENCH FAUTEUIL ARMCHAIRS EXCELLENT QUALITY PAIR OF FRENCH ARMCHAIRS CIRCA 1840. WE CAN DETERMINE THESE TO BE 1840 IN DATE BY THE CONSTRUCTION AND RARELY THE SMALL PEGS UNDERNEATH HAVE BEEN LEFT IN PLACE. TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL GREEN/BLUE PAINT, THIS HAS BEEN LATER STRIPPED TO REVEAL A BEAUTIFUL COLOUR BEECH, CARVED TO THE BACK AND ON THE KNEE.
