This is a beautiful Simon Halbig Antique German Bisque Child Doll Her mold number is 1080 . This particular mold was only made as a shoulder head doll. She is a nice cabinet size of 19 inches. Head is marked Germany, Simon & Halbig, 1080 S&H. Doll has a beautiful head with no chips, cracks, or repairs to her bisque. She has an open mouth with shaded and outlined lips, showing 4 porcelain teeth. Dimple in her chin. She wears an antique mohair wig with mil...linary flowers for a simple decoration. Her head has old glue residue around the rim. She has earring holes with wired earrings, that may be her original She has sleep eyes and have been reset. She has a riveted leather body in very good condition for age. It has no leakage of sawdust. There is a small tare at the upper back area. Doll has beautiful plaster type, lower arms and legs with no damages. She is wearing a pretty hand embroidered cotton dress with matching pinafore. Dress has mop button closures. Pinafore ties closed at each side with black silk ribbon. Theres a pinkish colored stain on the front of both, but does not detract. Her pantaloons are a bit too big and need to be pinned closed.
