ThankYou!DESIGNER/COMPANY/LOCATION:Unsigned *Created in the late 19th century by the glass makers of Gablonzin northern Bohemia (Czechoslovakia), Iris Crystal or Rainbow Crystal (aka Iris Glass) was made to emulate naturallyoccurring Rainbow Quartz which exhibits multi-hued color zoning when properlycut. The effect was achieved by simply including transparent filaments(generally three) of green, red and blue into the otherwise colorless Crystal glass. IrisCrystal jewelry was popular from the Victorian era up until the Art Deco period(1920-1935) and these antique pieces are now very desirable and collectible.METAL: SilverPlating over Brass~ Antique 1920s Art Deco Era Necklace & Earrings Set*Very Rare to see Deco Era sets with earrings or even earrings alone!~ Both have elongated Faceted Bicone Crystals and thenecklace has an additional Faceted Briolette focal point drop.~ 18” Period Paperclip/Crinkle Chain with a contemporaryreplacement Barrel Clasp~ ERs have screw backs which may be converted, if desired.Simply snip off the top hardware and attach to ear wires – 10-15 minute job.CONDITION: VeryGood Antiquecondition overall considering the age.
