This is an amazing piece and the workmanship is fabulous. The pendant is attached to a movable handle for the vase which also doubles as the frame for the bale. The lid is suspended by a delicate chain. Even the little lid has enamel on it. The bottom of the flask is marked ‘silver’. It has enameled Greek Key bands and a hinged top. The measurements are in the picture with a ruler and a penny. The entire pendant including the bale measures 2”. At its w...idest, the flask is 4/8”.1. There are no indentations in the flask. The slight tarnish and the shadow/light makes it look like there is.2. Enamel that is chipped/worn off is mostly at the bottom rim. In fact, there is very little of the blue enamel at the bottom rim. 3. The 2 faces on either side (where the loop to carry it ends) are well preserved with the slightest (not even noticeable) enamel fading at the edges.4. On the broad border of the neck of the vase, there is a loss of enamel. There is a thin line in blue on the neck which shows no loss. 5. The lid shows faded enamel as a result of age.Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. I am not an expert and attempt to describe items to the best of my abilities.
