This auction is for a vintage Conn Model 6D Double French Horn. Serial number is 392318 and this dates it to about 1950. The bell reads "CG Conn LTD Elkharts Ind USA". Comes with a nice Case and a #11 Mouthpiece. I have more horns like this so if you need more than one let me know. Please contact me for a shipping price if Ebays calculator is not working. This Conn French Horn is in overall good condition and plays and sounds good to me. Not the prettiest instrument because of the worn and scratched lacquer but with cleaning and polishing will look better. The four valves work properly and feel good when played. There are smaller dents and dings throughout the horn. There is a brass patch on the outside bow and also on the bell rim (see pictures with arrows). The tuning slides are free and slide well. The lacquer has a worn and scratched and pitted areas as you can see. The bell has some smoothed wrinkles and a few smaller dents as you can see and the patch on the bell rim as I mentioned earlier.

There is the Case and #11 Mouthpiece included. The case is in good condition, it is a nice sturdy newer case to use. The mouthpiece is in good shape. Please see pictures for condition and ask questions if needed.
