It was manufactured and purchased from Ford Gum andMachine Company in the late -1950s to early-1960s. It served anowner of a Ford Gum and Machine franchised field from then until the mid-1980sin North Carolina. It is in good working order with use, but nomajor blemishes. Its finish i...s chromed steel. It operates byuse of either pennies or dimes and will reliably deliver a small (0.625 inch)sized Ford gum ball with every inserted coin. The globe is glass andcarries an original Ford Gum & Machine decal. An original metalplaque remains (from Lockport N.Y. and Akron N.Y.) above the machine’s originalspout with model number and trademark details. The aluminum advertising topper is included as well as a Lion's Club decal. GUM IS NOT INCLUDED.
