It was actually made by the "Nawab of Awad...h" at the time still a "Princely State" in northeastern India. It later became a "Kingdom" before it was taken over by the British Raj.
It was struck at the Lucknow mint in the seventh regnal year of Alam II. That was in AH 1180, the year "Anno Hegirae" or "in the year of the Hijra" 1180 began on June 9, 1766. Lucknow is today the capital city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Weight: 11.24 Gram, 20 x 4 Millimeter, Silver.

Obverse: Comb symbol.
Reverse: Year V or 7 at bottom left.
The Coin: A choice example, it saw a few hands, enough to earn some marks and dirt. But it has no shroff or banker's marks and has never been cleaned. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
