We purchased these coins as "uncirculated", however we are NOT experts......although we do NOT clean coins, we assume that ALL coins (purchased as uncirculated) have been cleaned at some point in their lifetime.....please look at photos before buying, and use photos to judge condition!
1937-P Silver Year Set "uncirculated" business strike in a 5 coin plastic display case.........#1550-a.......this is NOT an original mint set! This set was assembled by me
D...ESCRIPTION OF EACH COIN:
(1) There were 245, 388, 000 1937-P Lincoln Wheat Cents minted, but they are hard to find in "uncirculated" condition and expensive...................a gorgeous collector coin!
(2) There were 79, 485, 769 1937-P Buffalo Nickels minted.
(3) There were only 56, 865, 756 1937-P Mercury Dimes minted making them expensive and difficult to find in uncirculated condition.....
(4) There were only 19, 701, 542 1937-P Washington Quarters minted, making them very difficult to find in "uncirculated" condition and very, veryexpensive!.......
(5) There were only 9, 527, 728 1937-P Walking Liberty Half Dollars minted making them difficult to find in "uncirculated" condition and very, very expensive!
I apologize for my limited picture-taking skills. I think this is the best I can do! Please use these photos to judge the condition of each coin.
This set was assembled by me "personally" removing each uncirculated "business struck" coin from it's roll; or bought individually, placing each in the 5 coin plastic display case shown in the photos. Each coin is shown with it's own "toning" and luster.....it's own history.....it's own story!

Please read before bidding.................I am NOT a grading service, and DO NOT represent myself as such, however I will give my opinion from time to time in my listings, and it's only "my" opinion....so please "buy the coin, not my opinion."
I am also a very "strong advocate" in the preservation of old coins and art bars, because of their historical value.......And so several years ago I decided to "encapsulate" any and all coins and bars purchased by me which were not already slabbed, so as to protect them from future exposure to oily fingers and other elements.
Most of the coins and bars I have listed here were either slabbed before the photos were taken for the listings, or slabbed "after" their photos were taken......which means, if the coin you purchase is not shown in the photos as slabbed, there's a good chance it will be slabbed when you receive it.....or, if you purchase a coin from me which is shipped "not" slabbed, it's simply because it shipped before my "white cotton gloves" took the time to encapsulate it....either way, it's the same coin....I encapsulate my coins for one reason, and one reason only.......it makes "me" happy knowing they are preserved; avoiding any future contact with the "greasy, grimy" elements!Again, my slabbing of the coins and bars I purchase is for protection, not for looks or some marketing strategy.....and BUYERS who want to replace the "slabs" I use with a different slab which looks nicer to them, are certainly welcome to do so......I certainly understand. Again, they are for protection, not looks! I welcome your business, but even if you choose not to purchase today, I appreciate your taking time out of your busy day to shop my store and enjoy the history I have displayed just for you!Coin collecting should not only be for investment.......... but for fun!
