Nice old No. 8, 24" plane. Last patent date of April 18th, 1910. Has some surface rust and lost of outer coating. An owner (J.B. Meyers) etched his name lightly in the side of the plane. The wood knob shows light wear. The wood handle is solid but has a crack about an inch up all the way through and a chunk missing off the top. There are some light paint splatters on the metal. The blade has been sharpened but appears in good shape. I am ...not an expert on hand planes but will gladly try to answer any questions you might have.
