Here is a Douglas C-124 Globemaster, working with 2 batteries (not included), manufactured by Yonezawa, Japan, in the early 60's.
The Douglas C-124 Globemaster made its first flight in 1949, made a career in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1974 and produced 448 copies. It had to carry large military equipment and troops that could hold up to 50 tons of cargo.
This toy airplane is a faithful replica of the original, it is in playing condition and works perfectl...y.
The rear wheel and its axis are not original.
The propellers are reproductions of DC-7 Yonezawa, a little different (original Globemaster 63 mm, reproduction 65 mm).
Airplane dimensions: length 18 1/8 ", 46 cm, wingspan 20 7/8", 53 cm, height 7 ", 18 cm.
Total weight (without batteries): 700 g.
No box .
This is one of the most beautiful airplane Yonezawa, exposed in the middle of a collection, it will be very proud because its general condition is very correct.
