I adore the w...ay you change the date by pulling the crown out lightly. It's a beautiful timepiece and a true rival to the Omega Seamaster Sports/Dress watches of that period. The watch winds and is also automatic. The watch is powered by the Cal. 1488K in house Eterna movement. This watch winds and keeps time very well indeed! When you turn the crown to change the time, it has a great smooth mechanism, so when the date flips over, its nice and clicks crisply into place, And that dial with its beautiful patina...Glorious! I do not know the service history of the watch, but its running very well right now, almost like its recently been serviced? But I cannot be sure of that, nor can I give any warranty, guarantee and the watch is sold as-is with No returns. This is a policy I keep for vintage watches, mainly because they need proper maintenance once you own it, and I always advise that you find a good watch service person, who will service it and advise you on how to fully enjoy it. One thing I do guarantee is that it is a genuine Eterna watch. The watch has normal overall wear to the crystal and case. It looks amazing on this NATO strap, but the addition of a bracelet or a beautiful Italian Leather strap would just make this watch even more attractive. I am a Lady who collects, sells and trades all kinds of watches, and I am a self confessed Watch addict! A hobby that me and my Husband truly enjoy together :) We really like and enjoy collecting Swiss watches, Japanese watches and Microbrand watches. I also have a personal collection of Fortis watches.
I also sell some watches now and then, to fuel my grail chase.
I do offer a 30 day return policy on some newer watches, but no returns on vintage watches or watches that need repairing or servicing.
