Here is a (now vintage) Digitech 2120 Artist Tube Preamp + Control One Footswitch from 1999. I am also including a ~12' cable for the footswitch, as well as a standard IEC power cable. If you are looking at this listing, you already know how much this is capable of, how complex into the settings you can get, and how sought after the quality of many of its effects blocks still are. I've heard the 2120 described as a "poor man's Eventide H3000, " and I have to say this ...unit's digital effects live up to the comparison in many ways, plus it has the benefit of all the built in guitar preamps and functionality. It really is the grand daddy to modern high end units like the AxeFX, ElevenRack, etc. This unit is running the 2.02 firmware / chip, which was selected for being the most stable and desirable sounding.
The unit is in perfect working condition -- it has has been babied in a studio all its life. It has never been gigged/toured with. It has some minimal rack rash and slight wear of lettering on the face plate -- all cosmetic issues only. The screens on the 2120 and the Control One footswitch are both bright and all segments are working clearly. All buttons, knobs, and pedals on both pieces work flawlessly. This unit does NOT have the glitchy scroll issues that many 2120's develop especially with the big scroll knob. This is probably as close to a new in box or NOS 2120 as you can get!
I believe the tubes currently in it are Sovteks, and do not have a ton of hours on them.
Tip if you purchase: I have done a factory reset which puts the unit back to defaults and clears the 100 user presets, so it is ready to be tweaked and filled. The ONLY setting I have changed from default is to turn on the global cabinet emulation. You WILL want this on if you are recording direct or playing out to a full range PA. If you will be using this unit with a power amp into guitar speakers, you may want to turn that setting back off.
Although I have tested this machine to fully verify its functionality, because of its age, it is being sold as-is, and there are no returns. I ship to the United States only. It will be carefully packed and insured when shipping.
