Offered here is a very interesting 16mm film canister with a label on the front that reads: UNITED STATES NAVY - BUREAU OF AERONAUTICS - TRAINING FILM SECTION, PHOTOGRAPHIC DIVISION...DEEP SEA DIVING & SHALLOW WATER DIVING". This vintage movie, produced by the US NAVY, was recently acquired from a WWII NAVY VET and career navy man's estate. He was a deep sea diver and well known member of the NAVAL RESERVES in the Philadelphia Navy Ship Y...ard. He was also a member of the Philadelphia Police Department dive team. This film has several numbers on the canister..."MN-105-D, M-386, 3A-11". The film fills the whole reel and it appears to be in very good condition. (I have not run the film thru a projector). The metal cover-film canister appears to be original with original NAVY sticker on the front. Who knows what great film footage is on this vintage (1940's-1960s) movie reel!
