Thank you for checking out my listing! Up for bid is a great pair of hats from Converse Equipment Company, Inc, out of Whitewater Wisconsin This trucker style hat and snow cap advertise Ford tractors and equipment. These came out of a local farm estate.
These hats are in amazing condition! Neither look to have been used, as the band for the forehead in the trucker cap does not show any major staining, nor does the inside of the snow cap. The brim on the trucker cap is still rigi...d. As is a common issue with these vintage hats, the trucker cap did have foam in the inside that was falling apart. I carefully removed the foam for better shipping, displaying, or use. This is not to say that there isn’t any straggler pieces, but majority of the foam is gone. The snow cap is still tight with no evidence of stretching due to use.
The patches are still bright white, and advertise the business well.
These are great matching collector pieces for a Ford collector, a farm collector, or a Whitewater WI collector. I am listing these as “used” due to them being vintage, but I do believe from what I can see that they are NOS.
