HISTORY OF DANECRAFT FELCH Danecraft Felch was the original name for today's Danecraft Co. The company was founded in 1934 in Rhode Island. The original company was privately held in an equal partnership between two families, the Felch and Primevera Familes....
The reason was the name Danecraft was chosen was at the time Danish jewelry was second to none in the world. The owners believed by incorporating the word Dane into the company name would lead people to believe the jewelry was Danish made. Shortly after WWII the Primevera Family bought out the Felch Family as the Felch Family wanted to continue making only fine jewelry while the Primevera Family wanted to include a Costume Jewelry Line. The partnership lasted 11 years which is one of the many reasons why a Danecraft Felch piece of jewelry is so valuable.
This is a 7.75" Inside Circumference and 5/16" High, (all the way around) Hallmarked Danecraft Felch Sterling Silver Bangle Bracelet with a repeating Wheat Design, (This is not a very common Danecraft Felch design). Although the Bracelet was made btwn 1934-1947 the craftsmanship is so amazing that you would think the bracelet was just made!
There is Absolutely No Wear to the Wheat Pattern (Usually over time a tooled or hand etched design will fade over time).
The Bracelet weighs 15.25 Grams
