You are bidding on an aluminum recast of an 1890’s – 1920’sbicycle stand used in early bike shops to display their new bicycles. We havebeen making these for 25+ years and hundreds have been sold to museums. Theydisplay them with high wheels, hard tire safeties and all pneumatic bicycles.They are made to handle a full size adult bicycle but will also fit a 24”wheel. All of our stands are made here in North America with the bestaluminum ingots on the market. After casting ...they are trimmed, ground and thenspend 24 hrs in a huge rotating tumbler with a fine grit water solutionpolishing them to a pewter like finish.
