Here is a FANTASTIC SIMONS Hand Chased Victorian Sterling Silver Desk Scissors & Letter Opener Weighing 132 grams.  EXCELLENT condition!   Each piece is signed with the Simons Brothers manufacturer's mark and Sterling.  The entire letter opener is sterling silver.  The handle on the scissors is sterling silver.  Both are hand chased.  The blades on the scissors are German and are marked Vom Cleff & Co. Germany.  Each piece is engraved wit...h the name, Mary.

Size of the pair of scissors is 9 5/8 inches long.  Total weight of the scissors is 89 grams.
Size of the letter opener is 8 inches long. Total sterling silver weight is 43 grams.

This came out of an old estate in Western Pennsylvania.
