RARE 1911 TITANIC OLYMPIC White Star Line Booklet Brochure - COVER ONLY
Item History & Price

I want to be crystal clear regarding that fact - this auction is for a cover, and not an entire booklet. It's an ORIGINAL piece, and NOT a photocopy.
Yes, it's a damn shame it's just the cover, and NOT the entire brochure. However - I looked for a while online, and other than what appears to be a black and white... photocopy offered online by 'The Titanic Historical Society' for $24, I couldn't find an example of an original brochure like this pictured online, nor in completed auction listings. I figure it has to be a pretty rare item; if you're reading this description, I'm guessing you're aware of that. I have posted photos of the front and back opened to show the outside and inside of the cover, but at an angle to discourage image theft/counterfeiting. Please review the photos in Supersize Mode, as they are the best description possible. There is slight paper loss in areas, fading, etc.; the fold is intact but fragile, and there are two 'slits' in the cover where the staples used to be. It's a fragile survivor, but definitely an historical artifact, and it needs to be in a collection of like materials. The cover measures 5 1/4" tall, and 17" wide (when opened, as shown in the photos). I'm starting this at $75, because I honestly don't know where to begin it. I wouldn't be surprised if it brought much more. I'm not going to end this auction early, so please don't ask. Good luck bidding!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BIDDING - IT WILL SAVE US BOTH A HEADACHE :)
All bids are final. If you have any questions, please ask them AT LEAST 24 hours, to allow me time to reply. Please send payment within 24 hours of receiving my invoice. Please don't bid if you plan to pay for the item when you get paid on Friday - that's what PayPal Credit is for. Please read the description carefully, as I try to anticipate questions when I write the description. I do my best to completely describe the item, and take good photos that accurately depict the item. I ship once a week, on Friday, as that's the only time I can go to the Post Office. I will post a tracking number after shipment - and you will get an email from eBay, with the tracking number, so you'll (a) know it's been shipped, and (b) have a rough idea of when you'll receive it. I reuse packing material whenever possible, to keep it out of the landfill; think how great it would be, if everyone did. I pack items the way I would like to see them packed, if I were the customer. Please note the stated shipping costs before you bid. The shipping cost includes insurance. I estimate shipping costs for domestic shipping when I am listing. If you think my shipping costs are too high, please don't bid. There's no reason to give bad feedback for shipping costs for a carefully packaged item, when you know the shipping costs before you bid. For the life of me, I don't know why eBay still allows feedback to be posted for shipping costs. Now, it would make sense for eBay to allow feedback regarding how well the item was packed for shipment, but... I will combine shipping for separate auctions, when doing so will save the buyer money. Some things you can't practically ship together. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
