As my wife and i are downsizing we are selling art and antiques as well as items from our parents estate. We are listing some cameras and watches which my late father in-law had - he was a retired professional photographer, as well as lover of watches. His retired years involved spending large sums of money on some serious equipment as well as vintage watches, we shall be listing other watches this week also including Aria Eternamatic, Inacabloc, Benson and a Deville, Tissot et...c. - so please look.
We have left the strap on so you can see it genuinely (its been our attic for over 11 years since his passing).
There are simply too many - and with time passing (11 years) we feel it is best for someone else to benefit instead of being in our attic!
This listing is for a wonderful vintage Omega Deville watch Cal 1378.
The face looks very good to excellent as well as the hands etc.
The strap is very nice - minimal wear...stamped with Omega and 1451/483
The movement I stamped and has 1378 stamped on it.
The inside of the case back has omega watch company and number 39508762 etched on it.
The case back has serial number 53301274 stamped on it.
The watch Has Recently also been looked at and a new battery inserted and had a bit of a clean by the Jewellers - and the watch works extremely fine. I presume its not water resistant etc as it doesn't state it - any questions please ask.
Remember this watch is 20-30 odd years old - it is sold as described as honestly as possible. we are selling my father in laws collection so they come with no guarantee.and are sold as is without warranty. It is working and happy to give 24 hours post receipt guarantee.
Im no watch expert so please check photos and ask any questions if you have any. These show the condition of the watch and make up the listing - this is the watch you will receive. We are not sure of current values - some show 300-400 pounds so are starting at a lowish start price.
