This auction is for an antique lab light. It has a cast iron base that can be mounted on the wall. The light attaches with a clamp that allows the lamp to move from horizontal to vertical positions. The cord is original, it measures approximately 14 foot. It has a metal plug. I have never seen a metal plug. It should be replaced. It has a Bryant socket with push pin on off. One of the pins is missing. The base is cast iron and has a nice ...weight. The lamp measures approximately from base to top of socket is 15" when vertical position. The base measures approximately 5-1/2" diameter, 6" with scrolls. The base has an oval sticker "The Emil Greiner Co. New York NY". The flared part on the bottom is brass painted black. The lamp would look great with an Antique Edison light bulb There is some lose of paint and a little rust on the bottom.
