You are bidding on this Original World War One M16 German Combat Helmet with Faded Camouflage Paint. Helmet is marked TJ66 near the chinstrap attachment. This helmet has been in the same Green Bay Family for 100 years since the previous owners grandfather brought it back from World War One. The helmet is in good condition-there is light surface rust on the exterior mostly on the crown-the interior has most of the original finish but does have some surface rust. The leather liner is hel...d on by one of the rivets. One of the rivets is missing and the other is there but has let loose from the liner. There is some very old glue remnant from an old note or label that was attached to the helmet for many years-you can see it in the sixth picture. The leather chinstrap is worn and frayed and broken and is probably missing a portion of the strap. Helmet has no dents or repairs.
