Vintage Prince Of Wales Heraldic Brooch By Attwood Sawyer Signed A&S And U.K . This Fabulous Atwood & Sawyer vintage brooch depicts the Prince of Wales feathers.The brooch is gold plated and I think from the 1970’s . It consists of three white ostrich feathers emerging from the coronet . The feathers are a silver in colour and the coronet is in gold colour. Both are set with beautiful sparkling clear crystals . It is a close replica of the Prince of Wales feathers and coronet symbol ...but doesn’t show the ribbon below the coronet which bears the motto Ich dien ( I serve ). The brooch is in a very excellent vintage condition . Good straight bar fastener with a rollover clasp and very well made . On the reverse of the brooch it is signed . A&S and also U.K . Please use the photographs as part of the description and measurements as well. The Attwood box does show some age related wear . The brooch came boxed, but I have a collection of Attwood Sawyer brooches and some of the the boxes & brooches have got jumbled up over the years. Also as I didn't buy all of them from new but as vintage or used items I can't guarantee that this is the box that the brooch was in originaly & I don't want to mislead. So please be aware of that.
