For sale - Winchester Split Bamboo FlyRod 9’ – 3 piece I purchase this Winchester Rod in Ennis Montana, at Blue herring Antiques in July of2015. Nope !....no deal made, I Paid full Blown Retail Antique Shop Price. I was Fishing the Madison at the time and was and still am intrigued with Bamboo Rods. I have owned a number of them! I Have never fish with this Rod as I mainly purchased it as an investment. Below I will bullet Its condition as I see it. · &...nbsp; Real seat is mechanicallysound with some discoloration. A few Rock scratches on butt fight.· I consider Cork Handle to bein good clean condition with very small chip of cork missing. Nice feel nocracking or hardening.· Winchester logo is poor tofair condition with approximate 90% of it intact. “Winchester” is legible!· Hook Ring – I see noevidence of a Hook ring – Not 100% certain if it originally had one? · All 3 sections measure 37’’· Line guides are all presentand solid – no bends or defects on bottom guide frame.· Silk wrappings are in verygood condition. Two of the small single wrappings have frays.· Rod appears to have beenrefinished at one time! I am not 100% on that but do see some evident aroundtop of handle. · Rod Cloth is Rough! A bit ofstaining. The top has been hand stitched. But does have unique character. Lookto be original but No ID tag to Identify it as Original.· Tube is made of spiraledcard board type material with Blue coloring. Do not know if its original? Tube is very strong and structurally sound. Also, old and Unique· At this time, I do not knowthe ferrule size or Rod weight!· Up Date Info: Ferrule on mid-section (Female) is a replacement!
