This Vintage Heathkit PS-4 Regulated Vacuum Tube Power Supply Tested Up to 450 Volts is in excellent used condition. As you can see in the photos ...the vacuum tubes are all lite up along with the main green light in the front. I did some minor test on it to check the voltage and the positive and negative meters were working just fine. It was reading just a little off, but with the fine tune adjustments on the inside I was able to dial it in pretty close. I didn't spend a lot of time fine tuning it and I'm sure it could get a little closer which is pretty easy to do. There are 2 adjustment dials on the top right inside of the machine to fine tune it to 0 (zero) and on the 400. It says it goes up to 400 volts but I could actually get it up to about 450 volts. It was also reading 6.8v A.C. when I tested that. I didn't get a chance to put a load on it to test the D.C. output current meter so I can't say for sure the status on that. I received this in a collage auction and there is some writing on the top that says "physics", also it does have some scratches and scuffs in spots but overall in excellent shape. Your not going to find one in a better condition than this. Beyond those test I don't know the condition.
I am not an expert by any means and don't know much about vacuum tubes so please look at the photos and judge for yourself. For these reasons and the fact that it is a vintage piece of electrical unit this item is being sold as is with no warranty or returns. I take a lot of pride in my business and the way I package for shipping so this will be very well packed and protected. What you see in the photos is what you will receive, so please don't assume it will come with anything other or more than what you see.
