Antique Henry Troemner Balance Scale With Becker Bros Weights

Up for bid is an antique Henry Troemner balance scale, along with a box of small weights (with markings that are difficult to read due to the oxidation/discoloration present). The scale is marked "Henry Troemner Philadelphia" simply printed on in gold lettering - not a brass plate or anything like that - so I believe this could be from a very early period in the Troemner history. The scale has an iron base but no other markings on it, so I do not know the model number. The scale measur...es about 10" long and is in solid condition but shows a lot of wear, as you would expect; I did not calibrate it or check it for accuracy. The box of weights is marked "Becker Bros. New York"; Troemner had worked for Becker Bros at some point prior to 1870, so it is likely that there was an association between the two companies. The weights range from 31 g (1.09 oz) to 1 g (0.04 oz); the box shows some wear and damage to the wood but holds the weights well.
