Antique Cast Iron Owl Fireplace AndironsI estimate them to be close to 100 years oldOriginal - Not Reproductions These were picked up out of a fireplace at an estate sale and have been cleaned upOne is marked with an O and the other one has what I thought looks like writing on it but I cannot make it out but can be seen in the above pictureOwls measure approximately 13” tall with an 8 1/4” baseOriginal legs measure 16” in lengthAmber Glass Eyes are in great condition with NO issu...es, cracks, chips, etc.They light up exceptionally well Both sets from each owl are picturedBoth pieces are in great shapeThere is some light surface rust to the owl to which I applied mineral oil to The legs of the andirons both have expected surface rust & wear from age but are in very good conditionWill be unscrewed from the base for easier shipping but should be no problem to be reassembled with the one screw and nut holding the owls to the holders
