Amazing and beautiful, Kuchi tribal choker from Afghanistan with crescent moon motifs; the crescent moon is a common symbol on tribal items.
The choker is very heavy - this weighs 1 pound 5 ounces - it's loaded with embellishments and lovely accents.
The embellishments are old and worn, but appear to be intact.
The width of the choker, not including the ties, is 13". It has an updated lining and two ties that are 8" each. This gives you an additional 16" to adjust this to yo...ur size.
From top to bottom this measures 8.75".
This is in beautiful condition - an amazing find. It is a vintage item so there are indications of age, including worn metal with smooth edges, oxidation, and some possible replacement settings on the smaller components.
