Vintage Heathkit GC-1005 Electronic Digital Clock - s/n 08427
The original Panaplex gas discharge display clock.
In beautiful condition, all functions work properly, time/alarm set, snooze, switches, etc.
Considering its age... mid-seventies... it's in gorgeous condition.
Nice laminated self-adhesive switch labels are included but not attached.
Copies of the instruction manual pages needed for operation included.
Two minor issues:
1) One of ...the internal case screw bosses is missing and has been repaired with a nylon standoff glued in its place, absolutely no functional or visual problem... see photos.
2) At initial power-ON, before time is set, when all display segments are lit, the 10's hours "F" segment is partially out.
This segment is never used in normal operating...again, no functional or visual problem...see photos.
Neither affect the operation or aesthetics of the clock, other than the yellow-marked screw-head on the underside of the case.
