Standing at almost six feet in height - these are a WOW! Research shows these were originally architectural elements for some ancient Asian temple. Pair of rare, antique, and very large pair of hand carved in wood Foo Lions/Dogs mounted on custom fabricated black lacquered solid wood stands. Imagine them sitting on either side of a fireplace. Or as dramatic statements in an entrance hall doorway. Condition is commensurate with advanced age and prior exposure to the elements. Missing so...me carved elements plus cracks, worm holes, etc. Each measures 48" H (w/out base), 69" H ( w/ base). 21" D x 9.5" W .
